What is Tracksynk?+
An Australian music licensing platform built around real artists, not stock libraries. Browse the catalogue, pick a track, choose a licence, use the music in your project. Artists set their own prices and keep 75% of every sale.
How does sync licensing work?+
A sync licence is permission to use a piece of music in your video, podcast, film, ad, or project. Every Tracksynk track lists its tiers up front, so you know exactly what's covered before you pay. License it, download it, drop it into your edit.
Does Tracksynk use AI-generated music?+
No. Every track is written, played, and recorded by a named human artist you can find on Spotify. No AI-generated music, no stock-library clones, no sample-pack filler. Human-made is a hard requirement for the roster, so what you license is real music made by a real person, not a synthetic file made by no one.
How much does it cost to license a track?+
Depends on the tier. IndieSynk usually sits in the $99 to $350 range, StudioSynk $450 to $3,500. PersonalUse is platform-fixed at $1.99 for personal listening. CustomSynk is bespoke and quoted per deal. Buyers pay the track price plus a 5% service fee, and the artist sets the final price on every track.
Will I get a copyright or Content ID claim on YouTube?+
Sometimes, if the artist has registered the track with a distributor. We flag it on the track page, the artist clears it with their provider, and your downloaded licence is your proof if you ever need to dispute a claim. The licence stays valid throughout, so a Content ID flag never costs you the rights you paid for.
Do I need a subscription?+
No. Tracksynk is pay per track, not a subscription. There is no monthly fee and no plan to maintain. You buy the licences you need and keep them for the life of your project. Pay once, keep it forever.
